Case in point, one particularly observant player noticed a sneaky Red Dead Redemption 2 Easter Egg in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. With that said, it was only a matter of time before players started finding more Easter Eggs in any of the three remastered titles. One, in particular, stands out because many believe that it’s confirmation of the setting for the still-unannounced Grand Theft Auto 6.
Is a teaser for GTA VI available in the GTA trilogy?
As players take their time looking for Easter Eggs in the remastered GTA games, one player found something peculiar in the Lil’ Probe’Inn in San Andreas. Several photos are hanging on the wall featuring UFOs set in locations that can be found in GTA 5. But, for some reason, there’s a photo that Rockstar took the time to put enough details in, complete with the UFO, yet it doesn’t appear to be associated with any existing Rockstar title either. So, fans went ahead to do what they do best - speculate. A prevailing theory on Twitter suggests that the image is a possible tease for GTA VI’s setting. Many go as far as to say that it looks very similar to the Golden Girls’ house, which is a popular sitcom that ran from 1985 to 1992. The said series is set in Miami, Florida, which is the real-life inspiration for Vice City in the GTA games. Given that most of the rumors suggest that GTA VI will be set in Vice City, the connection feels like too on the nose to be something that wasn’t deliberately placed there by Rockstar. Of course, only Rockstar knows the setting for GTA VI at this point. What we do know is that the most recent rumor about GTA VI is that it won’t release until 2025. Until then, fans can look forward to playing remastered versions of GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption, which are reportedly slated to release in late 2023 and early 2023, respectively. In other GTA news, Rockstar has since apologized for the crappy state of the GTA Trilogy and has promised to provide fixes. Also, as a growing amount of users demand refunds, Rockstar has finally made the trilogy available to play on the PC once again.
