A few days after Ben Affleck’s controversial interview on the Howard Stern Show went viral, he went and popped up on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Naturally, the talk show host couldn’t help but ask the guest actor about the interview. According to Ben, it’s “not true” that he was blaming his ex-wife for his alcoholism. He says that “it’s the exact opposite” of who he was and what he believed in. He also added that he’d never want his kids to think that he’d “ever say a bad word about their mom.” In the same interview, Affleck also joked about how he was perfectly okay for being the “meme-guy”. However, he only responded to the accusations when he noticed that it had begun affecting his kids. He referred to the backlash as “inappropriate” and that it hurt his feelings.
